Moulay Abdellah Amghar Moussem Returns with Equestrian and Cultural Celebrations

The Moulay Abdellah Amghar Moussem is scheduled to take place from August 7 to 14, bringing together traditional equestrian performances, popular arts and cultural activities. The event is considered one of Morocco’s most important celebrations of intangible cultural heritage.

Every edition attracts riders, visitors, craftspeople and artists from different regions of the Kingdom. Tbourida performances remain among its main attractions, celebrating horsemanship, collective discipline and traditions passed down through generations.

The gathering also supports local tourism and commerce. It gives younger generations an opportunity to discover an important component of Moroccan identity while allowing artisans and performers to present their expertise to a large audience.
